The North Cheshire Family History Society will be hosting a talk entitled "Cheshire Tithe Maps by the Cheshire Record Office. It will take place at The Civic Hall, London Road, Hazel Grove. SK7 4DF on the 18th of May 2010.
All meetings start at 7.30p.m. Free to members and non-members alike.

Thoroughly enjoyed this interesting talk, and have been using the Chester Record office's website today to investigate the history of the immediate area around our present house in Hazel Grove/Norbury. Thanks to the NCFHS for arranging the excellent speaker, and for making their meeting open to curious outsiders like us. And for publicizing it on this site - we wouldn't have known about it otherwise! |
